So, a good starting point is to look out for the 3 C’s:

  1. Change: Improving your current situation is only possible if – you first accept it and the fact that you need a change; if you are truly prepared to change it; and if you have a burning desire to get yourself out of the rut you’re in. This opens up a range of possibilities for you.
  2. Commitment: The second step is to commit yourself to the change process to achieve the success you desire. Once you begin the change process, don’t let anything change your mind about it. Commitment has an incredibly magical power and can make the path to success much easier and much more enjoyable.
  3. Consistency: Starting a change process is usually exciting, as it brings along a sense of variety and something to look forward to. But starting something and doing it consistently are two different things. Aristotle said: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
