This is part 2 of a series of 3 blog posts to help you learn about the adrenal glands, identify and combat adrenal fatigue.
Signs and Symptoms
- Finding it hard to get up in the morning
- Feeling fatigued even after a good’s night’s sleep
- Not really waking up until around 10am
- Lethargy during the day
- Drop in energy between 3 and 4pm
- Feeling better after evening meal
- Everything feels like a chore and seems to take extra effort
- Difficulty handling stress
- Mild depression
- Existing health condition
- Decreased enjoyment of life and usually fun activities
- Low blood pressure
- Desire to eat a lot of salty or sugary foods
- Relying on caffeine to get yourself through the day
- Increased PMS in women
- Feeling mentally ‘foggy’ and having difficulty concentrating
- Memory problems
- Decreased tolerance, so you become irritable more easily
- Decreased productivity
