BENEFITS OF OZONE THERAPY

One of the most attractive aspects of ozone therapy is its wide clinical application. Ozone therapy plays a significant role in the management of diabetes, chronic infections, autoimmune disease, immune disorders, and the infirmities of ageing, pain, and sickle cell anaemia.

Topical applications are effective for bacterial and mycotic dermatological infections, both acute and chronic cystitis, proctitis and colitis, intestinal parasitic disease, and osteoarthritis, to name a few.

Topically ozone can be administered in a few ways. At the Global Health Clinics based in Takapuna, Auckland, we provide a wide range of ozone treatments.

  •  Breathing of ozone can help with gingival, mucosal and tonsillary problems.
Ozone is used to help with respiratory infections and ear infections. Ozone applied through nose or ears by the silicone tubing.
  •  Ozone directly applied on the skin regarding all kinds of infections (from soreness to diabetic ulcers, insects and jellyfish stings and burns). Ozone used to promote wound healing. Ozone applied through bags or cups directly on the point of injury or infection.
  • Ozone can help with chronic rectal and vaginal infections (bacterial, viral, fungal and protozoan).  Used for anal and rectal abscesses, fistulas, proctitis, bacterial and ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and chronic B and C hepatitis. Ozone is insufflated through the catheter into the body cavities for a few minutes.

“Ozone therapy, not only is absolutely adverse effect-free, but the majority of patients feel euphoric and energetic in the next few days” ( V. Bocci, 2005).

PROLONG USE OF OZONE STIMULATES IMMUNE SYSTEM, INCREASES CIRCULATION, IMPROVES MEMORY.

Ozone is a natural gaseous molecule made up of three oxygen atoms whereas the oxygen molecule, far more stable, is composed of only two atoms.

The first medical application seems to have been the use of ozone for treating gaseous, post-traumatic gangrene in German soldiers during the 1st World War.

The idea to use ozone in medicine developed slowly during the last century.

Ozone is up to 3000 times faster and more effective than chlorine at killing bacteria, moulds, cysts and inactivating virus, while providing you with a purity not achievable with conventional chemicals. Unique to ozone is the fact that microorganisms do not build up immunity to being treated with ozone.

Ozone displays a cleansing effect and act as a powerful disinfectant, which kills even antibiotic-resistant or anaerobic bacteria.

Ozone is effective against all types of fungi. This includes systemic candida albicans, athlete’s foot, moulds, mildews, yeasts, and even mushrooms.
